Instagram users will be delighted: It is now possible to simply insert lyrics into a song in the stories. The social network is thus introducing a function that TikTok already offers.
So far, Instagram only allowed adding music to the stories via the music sticker. Those who wanted to display texts had to type them in manually. Given the growing popularity of TikTok, Instagram has now introduced an automatic lyrics display.

How to add lyrics to Instagram
The option announced by Instagram is available on both Android and iOS in all countries that already offer the music sticker. However, some Android smartphones may not yet have this option. Fortunately, it is only a matter of time before the option comes.
Adding lyrics to your story couldn’t be easier:
- Select the creation of a new story and click on sticker.
- Find and select music
- Then you can adjust the display of the lyrics, change the words or change the colors or font of the lyrics. It is also possible to adjust the scrolling of texts.
If someone then looks at your story, your followers will automatically see the texts. It is even possible to get to the artist through it.
