Not all smartphones have the ability to record calls natively – not least because calls can only be recorded under certain conditions, which vary from country to country. If for any reason you really need to record a call, you can now do so without root rights on many of the latest Honor and Huawei devices!
We thank the very active community of Xda Developers, who are always active and ready to find solutions to any kind of problem for smartphone users. This time, thanks to the arrival of the Huawei P30 Pro , the user Zimperium has found a way to allow any Honor and Huawei smartphone that is equipped with EMUI 9 to record phone calls.
How to record calls to Huawei / Honor without root
Huawei’s latest flagship offers this feature, which Huawei has brought to smartphones that have been updated to the new EMUI 9.1. Simply install a simple APK file (safe and controlled by the Xda moderators) to get a button on the screen that is intended for calls with other smartphones with EMUI 9, with which you can start and stop the recordings.
- Invite the APK on this link down
- Installs it on your smartphone ( here is the instructions for installing an APK file )
- Restarts the smartphone and the button appears
Do you think that Huawei should include a warning to the other party when the recording starts to avoid recording without the knowledge of the other side?
