To access the close people feature, all you have to do is the following:
- Open the Telegram contact list.
- At the top, locate the option Find people nearby .
- Select a contact who is close to you and start talking to him.
You should know that this option is disabled by default. This means that no one will be able to find you, unless you click on the Make me visible option . In that case, any user who is near you will be able to contact you. However, it is not a requirement to be visible to the rest to see those close to Telegram.
Also note that the maximum radius for this feature is 10 kilometers, based on our tests. Users outside of that radius will not be visible.
