A simple APP allows you to convert text to speech on Android and is capable of reading a PDF or any text or document for you on your cell phone. In other words, you can listen to the audio of that document out loud.
This is the Voice Aloud Reader application , which you can download for free. You can read almost anything on the Android device. Complete web pages, text files, PDFs , emails, SMS and any text available in any application. Apparently, it automatically detects if the text is in Spanish, English or any other language, and self-configures itself to read it correctly.

To make a text read aloud and in Spanish to your Android phone, just install it and “Share” the text or PDF with this APP.
For example, to read an open web page in Chrome, open the menu of this browser and tap on “Share”. Finally select the @Voice Aloud Reader option . The text will start reading immediately.

You can use the same APP to read a PDF out loud on your Android. There are other more reputable apps on Google Play for this task, such as eReader and ReadEra. However, they do not come preconfigured to read Spanish.
To play and listen to the PDF you can proceed in the same way as before, or from the same Voice Aloud Reader application, as shown in the image above.
As you can see, this is an advanced text reader for Android that offers multiple functions. For example, recording the reading to an OGG or WAV audio file, controlling the speed and pitch of the reading. It also has full screen mode, saving reading lists in Dropbox and option to import articles from Pocket.
Use Android Text to Speech
Applications like the one mentioned here require a text-to-speech (TTS) output system that must be previously installed on the Android phone. You can check this in Settings > Language and Input > Text-to-speech output .
Most Android devices already have a TTS in several languages from the factory (including Spanish), so the application should work immediately and without problems.
In case the APP is not able to read, you will have to install a TTS from Google Play. Preferably use Google Text to Speech, which offers support for several languages.
