Reboot the device
- There are several ways to reset your device if you have problems. The first step is to turn your device on and off. Hold down the Power / Home button , then select Power off .
- To turn the device back on, press and hold the Power / Home button until the screen turns on.
- If the problem is not fixed with the ignition cycle, you can do a factory reset. A data reset to factory settings restores the device to factory settings. It will permanently delete all personal data, preferences, settings and content such as photos, ringtones and applications that are saved on the device. It is recommended that you save important data (make a backup copy) before proceeding. To perform a data reset to factory settings, from the clock face, press the Power / Home button.
- Rotate the bezel and then select Settings.
- Go to Gear info and select.
- Go to Reset Gear and select.
- Select the brand icon.
