To download photos from Google Photos without the application, the first thing you have to do is open the web browser. As in the previous case, it can be Safari, Google Chrome, etc. Then go to Google Takeout https://takeout.google.com and log in with the Google username and password of the account where you have the photos.
Now click on “uncheck all”. Then scroll down and select Google Photos. Scroll to the bottom and click on “Next step”. Now you need to configure the export. Choose “just once” and then choose the file type (Zip or tgz) and size (1, 2, 4, 10 or 50 GB). Finally click on “create export”.
Depending on the size of the export it can take anywhere from minutes to days. When the export is ready, Google will send you an email and the download size, the creation date and the “download” button will appear. Click on the latter to start the download.
You will now need to sign in again with your Google account and then click “Download” again . The download file will be stored in the download folder of your mobile. Once the download is complete, enter that folder and select the file to open it or to share it by email or by messaging applications, etc.
Google Takeout is a service that Google has that allows you to export data from any account. Google Takeout allows access at any time to a backup of Drive, Gmail, photos, etc. By default Google Takeout marks all the data from all the apps, but you can manually select which apps you want to download the data from.
