In recent months, WhatsApp Plus has become one of the most downloaded applications in the world. The interactivity in the design offered by this unofficial application has placed it as one of the most attractive nowadays, especially due to the countless interfaces and other aesthetic details that the official WhatsApp apk simply does not offer.

For this reason, its version 12 (v12) was one of the most anticipated updates and, apparently, WhatsApp Plus did not disappoint.

Changes in WhatsApp v12

With the new configurations offered by this application, people will be able to design each aspect of the interface in a specific and personalized way in their user. Details such as themes or fonts and fonts are some of the features that you can configure with this altered WhatsApp apk.

As for the themes, the developers announced that from now on you can have a new one every day, if you wish. With this update you will not suffer any repercussions if what you want is to feel your interface fresh and different every day.

On the other hand, in WhatsApp Plus v12 the app’s security and privacy system was also strengthened. Now you can configure the always desired “do not disturb” mode, in addition to hiding the connection status and chats, as well as access to anti-ban.

You can also freeze or suspend the ‘last seen’ status and activate the auto-delete message.

Benefit or risk?

Now, not everything with this app is a technological marvel. Although many think that WhatsApp Plus is the perfect reason to completely abandon the official version of the messaging application belonging to Facebook, there are some people who consider this statement as a complete error.

In addition to having security errors (such as the absence of “end-to-end” encryption ) that can lead to hacks due to invasions easily developed, there are also penalties sent by the original WhatsApp app on its famous copy.

From the beginning, WhatsApp ensured that those who use the ‘pirated’ apk could be punished indefinitely, either with user blocks or the phone number used to download WhatsApp Plus.

“Non-denied applications, such as WhatsApp Plus, GB WhatsApp, or those that claim to be able to move your WhatsApp chats from one phone to another, are altered versions of WhatsApp. These unofficial applications are developed by third parties and violate our Terms of Service. WhatsApp does not endorse the use of these third-party applications because it is not possible to validate their security practices ”, announced those in charge of WhatsApp at the beginning of this 2021 in an official statement.

Likewise, if WhatsApp does not block the accounts of those who ventured to install the unofficial version, according to experts, it may be this who gives a bad surprise to its “loyal” users.

In addition to the fact that it will be difficult to export chats during the migration of information from one cell phone to another, since WhatsApp Plus is an app without membership in an official company, it could present security problems that would surely lead to a complete elimination and no return of valuable data. As it is a non-legal apk, the content is not insured and could be lost in the event of a sudden suspension of the application.
