The Redmi brand, which belongs to the Chinese Xiaomi group, is preparing to launch its next note lineup on March 12. In the run-up to the unveiling, the specifications of the Redmi Note 9 Pro have already been leaked. According to information provided by Twitter user Ishan Agarwal the Redmi Note 9 Pro should have a 6.67-inch LC display that offers an FHD + resolution (2,220 x 1,080 pixels). An aspect ratio of 20: 9 should especially benefit film fans. According to the leak, Redmi wants to offer the Note 9 Pro in two memory variants: one with 64 GB memory and 4 GB RAM and as a model with 128 GB internal memory and 6 GB RAM. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 720G from Qualcomm. This SoC manufactured in the 8-nanometer process has two Cortex-A76 cores with a maximum of 2.3 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with up to 1.8 GHz. The suffix “G” should make the SoC fit for mobile gaming. The graphics unit Adreno 618 takes care of the graphics tasks.
There should be four lenses on the back of the Redmi Note 9 Pro. In addition to the main lens with 48 megapixels, the manufacturer has installed an ultra wide-angle lens with 8 megapixels, a macro camera with 5 megapixels and a depth sensor. In the notch on the front there is a selfie camera with 16 megapixels. The battery is comparatively large at 5,020 mAh and can be charged with 18 watts. Redmi wants to offer the Note 9 Pro in the colors Aurora Blue, Glacier White and Interstellar Black. Price information is not yet available. Even if the leak is comparatively detailed, interested parties should rather wait for the official unveiling on March 12.
