Samsung Galaxy S8: Safe Mode – how to start it
Follow these steps:
- Turn off the device.
- Then press and hold the “Power” button (on the right of the housing) and the “Volume down” button at the same time until the starting process begins.
- You can now release the “Power” button, the “Volume down” button must continue to be pressed.
- Wait for Android to load in safe mode.
There you can see that the S8 is now in the firmware state. This means that all apps that were installed afterwards are not available. In this way, you can isolate problems and find out whether it is due to external programs or the hardware.
