Why error 43 pops up
The “Code 43” error is a fairly common problem that occurs among users of different levels. Often, the cause of error 43 is a software problem, and mainly on video cards. We can say that this is quite logical, because most often updates are required by video card drivers due to the exactingness of new computer games. Of course, frequent updates can lead to a breakdown in the installation process, and the software will not work correctly. In this case, if you open the “Device Manager”, then the incorrectly installed driver will be displayed with an exclamation mark.
How to solve the problem with the video card driver?
To install the correct software, follow these steps:
- We find on the Internet the latest version of the complete driver package for the required hardware. As for video cards, we are looking for WHQL for NVidia, AMD Catalist Video Card Drivers for Radeon, and so on. We download the software to your computer.
- Uninstall the incorrect driver and all additional utilities included in the bundle (for example, NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Catalyst Software). To do this, it is better to use the “Remove Programs Wizard” in the “Control Panel”.
- We clear the registry. CCLeaner is the best tool for this – it’s easy to use and quite powerful.
- We reboot the computer.
- We install new drivers and related utilities, then restart the computer again.

Ошибка 43 появляется из-за неисправности USB-порта
Бывает, что ошибка с кодом 43 появляется при включении любого устройства, будь то флеш-карта или принтер через USB-порт. В таком случае выскакивает окно «Неизвестное устройство (Unknown Device) код 43» с описанием «запуск невозможен, сбой запроса дескриптора устройства». Основной причиной такой ошибки является неисправный провод USB. Если заменить кабель, проблема будет устранена. Проверить неисправность кабеля можно подключением того же устройства через другой порт.
Ошибка 43 — другие причины
Иногда ошибка 43 появляется из-за несовместимости драйвера видеокарты с оперативной памятью либо из-за переполненности реестра Windows. Что делать в этом случае?
- Выключаем компьютер и отсоединяем его от электричества. Включаем компьютер. Если ошибка 43 снова появляется, следует заняться реестром.
