Comparison of Samsung Headphones
Low-end headphones
Samsung Galaxy headphones included in inexpensive devices, such as the Galaxy Core Prime, or Galaxy Grand Prime.
The headphones, earphones or headphones included in the box of low-end Samsung Galaxy devices, such as the Samsung Galaxy Core 2 or Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime , leave something to be desired and are not comparable to those included in high-end devices such as those of the Samsung Galaxy S line .
Due to the plastic that comes in contact with the ear, they cause discomfort after using them for a while. They also offer little isolation from ambient noise, something that can force you to raise the volume more, which is not good for the ears. The sound quality is also inferior to that of higher-end headphones. Another problem is the minimal control they offer. There is only the microphone and a button that is used to play / pause the audio or answer and hang up calls. There are no volume controls.
High-end headphones
Headphones included in high-end devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, S5 and even in the mini versions of these, such as the S3 mini, S4 mini or S5 mini.
The headphones from the Samsung Galaxy S line (Samsung’s high-end) are more comfortable due to their ergonomic design. Also because of the included rubbers or silicones (various sizes), which are the ones that actually come into contact with the ear and adapt to it. Furthermore, its sound quality is notably superior.
Currently there are three headphone models that come with these expensive cell phones. Personally I prefer the one in the image above, or the similar variant that comes in the S8 and S9. This due to its design of cap and the rubbers, which offer better isolation from environmental noise, something that cannot be said about the model in the image below (although if the plug hearing aid does not suit you, you can see them ideal). The only advantage of these hearing aids is the flat cable, which is usually easier to untangle.
Headphones included in the latest Galaxy S, such as the Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S7. Unlike the previous two that have a round cable, these headphones are flat cable.
Unlike the budget ones, any of these three headphones does include volume buttons, in addition to the main control. These can also be used to change songs. There are apps like QuickClic or Headset Control Center that offer this functionality, if it is not found natively.
Original Samsung headphones
Differentiating or distinguishing original Samsung hearing aids is a matter of hearing. These have good sound quality. It is clear and crystalline. They are heard at the same level on both ears. Because this is difficult for an inexperienced ear to detect, always buy hearing aids from an official Samsung store or authorized dealer.
Original Samsung headphones vs. trout
Please DO NOT BUY Samsung headphones at any cell phone store, because most of them sell trick or counterfeit headphones. Even in reputable online stores like Amazon, these trinkets abound.
The big problem with them is that the sound is opaque, “flat” and heard far away. It is even unbalanced and sometimes one ear is heard more than the other. They can be damaged a month after the purchase and only one side works. Physically they can look good, but the audio experience is TERRIBLE. This is not easy to identify either, so the suggestion again is to go to an official Samsung store.
Do not trust at all what the seller says. Nor from the packaging of the headphones. You can see it in a well-presented box, but it can fool you.
You can also rely on the price of the original Samsung hearing aids . On the Samsung website, the cheapest headphones, similar to the ones mentioned in this article, are priced at $ 30. NON-original hearing aids are commonly available for a price of around $ 10. For that price, it’s much smarter to go for third-party alternatives, like the Panasonic Ergofit, which have a tremendous reputation at a similar price. Its only downside is that they don’t have volume controls, but if it’s because of the sound, you’re sure to be safe from the poor experience of fake Samsung headphones.
